Sewing instructions
You need:
- fabric for face and lining...
- fusible interlining, if you like
- braids, laces, buttons etc. for decoration..
Preparation:
- glue all sheets together as indicated
- cut out all pieces
- transfer all parts to the fabric. You need every pattern piece 2x, one of the facing fabric and one of lining
- If the tend to frazzle, you should consider to seam them
Let's go:
- If you want, apply fusible interlining and/or decorate your pieces
- Close the short sides of the clyinder to get a tube and place the cover on top of it. Join both pieces. Repeat the same for the lining.
- Now, put the brim facing and lining togther and close the outer seam. Turn it to the right side.
- Turn the cylinder facing to the right side and put it at the inner edge and stitch them together.
- Put the cylinder lining into the facing and join it with the facing and the brim at the inner edges of the brim.
